From 1998 - 2006, Garry worked as the Art Director for the Telluride Film Festival. He loved the work, and he poured his heart and soul into it every year.
His work for the festival was some of the the best "commercial" work he ever produced and included 2 and 3 dimensional work, graphic design, sculptures, photographs, video, lighting, structures, signage and much more. He transformed gymnasiums and public spaces into Egyptian Palaces and distant Galaxies in a way that only Garry could imagine. His legacy in Telluride lives on at the festival today, his work and spirit still permeating the festival in many ways.
